Ethan Bear sets new record for most defenceman goals

Ochapowace’s Ethan Bear set a new club record with the Western Hockey League’s (WHL) Seattle Thunderbirds, becoming the highest scoring defenceman in the team’s history. The 19-year-old surpassed Shea Theodore, who played for the T-Birds from 2010 to 2015, for the most goals scored by the club’s defenceman in a single season, scoring 28 goals. In four years with Seattle, Bear has a total of 192 points with 66 goals and 126 assists.
